For when I want to curl up into a ball:

Psalm 31: 1-6

"In You, O LORD, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed;
Deliver me in Your righteousness.  Bow down Your ear to me, Deliver me speedily; Be my rock of refuge, A fortress of defense to save me.

For You ARE my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name's sake, Lead me and guide me.  Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, For You are my strength.  Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.

I have hated those who regard useless idols; But I trust the LORD."

Spring Galatian style

Spring 2012 simple women's study at northwest bible church: (this is going in the church bulletin this week):

"Galatians: Experiencing the Grace of Christ. If we have salvation as a free gift of grace in Jesus Christ, then what is our responsibility as Christians? How do we respond to God's law? Galatians answers these questions and more to help us understand what God--not others--requires of his followers to live our faith in freedom and obedience. Join this study group with other women in their 20's and 30's to learn God's word in community."

Something cool I heard today (it was on the radio so this is my paraphrasing):

"Church is great, and it is good for growing as a Christ follower with the support and challenge of other believers, but do not bet your soul on the number of times you went to church.  Reading the bible is wonderful, but do not bank your salvation on your knowledge.  Coming from a Christian family is a blessing, but is neither necessary, nor is it a guaranteed free pass into heaven. At the end of the day, the finished work of Jesus and faith in Him as your God justifies you to the Almighty."

I am excited, humbled, and honored to be looking closer into God's word this year.  If you are a woman and in Dallas, any or all Tuesday nights for the next 12 weeks, come join us!

Loving and living in Christ, Haley
